Meet Juli.

My drive and passion in life is to help myself and others become the best versions of themselves through food and activity.

I have a bachelors degree from Linfield College in Exercise Science, a masters degree from Tufts University, Friedman School of Nutritional Science and Policy in Food Policy and Applied Nutrition, and I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. I am also a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and Certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Coach through Girls Gone Strong.

I approach both my fitness and nutrition coaching practice from a HAES (Health at Every Size) lens. In a nut shell, this means I have a weight neutral stance when it comes to my services; I understand, and respect, the harm of weight stigma and diet culture.

I spend my free time with my spirited daughter, experimenting in the kitchen, engaging in outdoor recreation, and supporting our local food system.

Meet Melissa.

Being an Oregon native, Melissa found her passion for fitness as a teenager. When she started snowboarding she quickly found her body couldn’t sustain the intense runs on her snowboard she craved. She received a gym membership that Christmas and never looked back.

If you enjoy getting your workout done early in the day she is the trainer for you. Melissa loves training to burn those calories. You will be burning calories long through the day after training with her. She never forgets to throw in that little dose of core work to each session.

On top of Melissa’s 15 years experience working in the gym, she will have her NASM Certification in April 2022. She is already a pro!

If you’re lucky you might run into Melissa’s dog Sophie. She and Sophie love to hike and paddle board together.

Meet JP.

Growing up, I struggled with being overweight, eating terribly unhealthy, and lacking activities that brought me joy. At 19, I turned my life around by taking charge of my health, losing over 75 pounds, and moving out west to work in Grand Teton National Park where I discovered the active mountain lifestyle. The decade of my life that follows includes climbing mountains, speeding down ski slopes, traveling Europe, and unfortunately, major injuries. On three separate occasions, I tore my AC Joint, broke two vertebrae, and tore my ACL all while snowboarding. Following these injuries, I worked through physical therapy, experimented with different diets, exercise routines, and fasting in order to get back to doing the things I love.

Spending time outdoors or participating in sports always comes with an inherent risk we must accept, but that does not mean we can’t be better prepared for these physically demanding activities. The time we spend in the gym transfers positively to all aspects of our lives and helps us do the things we love with greater ease. Whether it is skiing, hiking, biking, or even just taking a long walk with your loved ones, I am dedicated to helping others achieve their fitness goals with confidence.

Certified through the American College of Sports Medicine, I am well versed in many aspects of fitness including strength, balance, flexibility, and functional training. I believe in a holistic approach to health, so our mental, spiritual, and emotional worlds are equally as important as the physical. It is my passion and mission to increase the quality of my clients lives by guiding them through exciting workouts and sharing the knowledge I’ve gained throughout my journey. I am looking forward to getting you in the best shape of your life!
